Going Green @ EOY (Literally)

EOY was held at Republic Polytechnic yesterday. The school is still as pretty as ever (Totally in love with their toilets XD) However, most of us did not go into the event itself as it was too expensive. Poor people like us would loiter outside looking for a good location to camp.There wasn't many people at the event as probably they are at Comifest in Malaysia ( I also want to gooo ;A; But I'll need a Visa and parent's permission. lol...)

I woke up early (7am) to reach there early to get the rest of my costume done (had to paste the patches). Yes, yesterday was the first time I was early on the day of event, earlier than the others and did not require spam calls to wake me up (actually I rarely do, but its a just precaution). Achievement unlocked! 

Miyako and VioletYuki almost got lost when looking for me. That was because I purposely choose a more isolated toilet :P

How we turned out:

Actually, it was not that accurate. The colour we chose was not the colour in the reference picture. It suits more of the Chikorita colour. We all tailored our costume and pasted the patches on ourselves. However, I cut my patches a little too oval-ly, I turned out too look like a "green cow" (Quoted from Eudy) ;A;

VioletYuki made her hairband and flower. The "tied ponytail" in front was actually stick-on.

Miyako made her huge flower umbrella by herself too using Styrofoam, foam paper and cupboard paper. 

It all turned out super nice! So proud of them XD

During the event, the rain was so great that many have to hide in the shelter. Our socks (we were wearing socks instead of shoe) was so soaked that it looked like it was dry with a darker colour. The stockings I was wearing wasn't saved at all though. It soaked up pretty badly ;A; 

Since we were leaving anyway, Miyako suggest we go into the water. VioletYuki and I were hesitant at first because we were wearing white stockings/kneehigh socks. 

Me: "Grass pokemon playing in water..Doesn't it feel weird ._. ?" I was countered with "Grass needs water." And with that, my argument was deemed invalid -.-'''

After much persuasion, we finally gave in and enter the water. Eudy and Jayce were splashing water at us while the other photographers took that scene. I wonder how the pictures will turn out....
