Katanagatari Shoot @ Japanese Garden

Chinese Garden on a weekday is really a good time for a shoot, since there would not be a lot of people around seeing you in weird costumes. Our shoot was around 3pm, having to reach there by 12pm to prepare. However,  we actually arrived at the Japanese Garden around 1-plus(?) due to some [ahem-ahem] reasons.

Things to note:
Actually I have already notice this when I went for the Rozen Maiden shoot. The toilet at the Japanese Garden is damn-freaking-small. To add to that, there wasn't much ventilation and there is only one super small mirror in the female's bathroom. However, if you were to change at the nearest Chinese Garden toilet, the distance you had to walk from there to the Japanese Garden would ruin your make-up or mess up your costume (if it is complicated to begin with) .
Oh! Plus, be sure to start preparing to exit the Garden as the Japanese Garden's bridge gate closes at 7pm. If you get locked in, you'll have to exit by the back and will take forever to walk back to the MRT station.
Just food for thought for those who never went there before~ XD

Katanagatari 
This anime is not really well known. I had never heard of this before until PikaKen told me to watch it and cos this during Cosfest. The costume was rushed out and the one and only costume that I made myself XD. Haha, I remember during last year's cosfest, only 1 or 2 people actually know who we are. I was so touched that someone actually called out "Nanami" XD
With a total of 12 episodes, apparently it was aired every month in the year 2010. Imagine those people have to wait for a month for 1 episode ;A; (I can...that was what I've been doing for Claymore OTL)

Frankly, we are not really related in the anime itself. The only thing that is connecting us is Shichika, and he never even met Mitsubachi (who died after Nanami killed him on her island). LOL. And look! We also have a  doppelganger (2 version of Nanami )!

Trying to recreate a fanart

I really like to cosplay Nanami as she is one of the strongest character in this anime. The thing is, her body was not able to cope with her strength and hence she had to suffer since young. Her death in Ep 7 was kinda sad to me actually ;A;
