All on board~!

Hello readers~ how are you girls/guys/aliens?
I finally got around to blog about "What I did when all of you were enjoying the AFA". (For those non-otakus, AFA is short for Anime Festival Asia).
I've just finished the final exam and that concludes my first module of my part-time Degree. Would be starting another one next week though ;A; (since we have 1 module per 2 months).

Anyways, I was miserably happily on the cruise with my parents from Day 1 evening to Day 3 afternoon. Thus, I wasn't able to make it to AFA. (plus, my skin was still in bad condition and I try to stay away from makeup...On a side note: my skin has been improving a lot!)
In order to compensate with my lack of post about AFA, I became a weird tourist on the cruise - that is, taking pictures everywhere. LOL.

Oh, and before you read on, I would have to warn you that this post is more image-heavy.... with FOOD!(I know you guys would like that LOL)
Ah yes, before you get any idea that on board the StarCruise Virgo is anything boring after you see my post, which it is if you had gone n-times, I would have to defend them by saying I had already planned to study there. They actually planned a lot of activities for kids, family or/and couples.  Yesh, I pretty much eat, study, nap, eat, study, sleep. It would not be a surprise that I arrived back at the port as a ball. ;A;

Day 1 - Arriving on board

Our bedroom~!

Every Day 1 on board the StarCruise SuperStar Virgo, we were welcome by the crew with BBQ Buffet near the swimming pool out in the open. However, since that day was raining rather heavily, it was moved to the back with shelter instead. Nevertheless, there were still good food XD

Sunset after the rain.
I've always loved this sight

My BBQ Buffet dinner
I always loved their baked potato!

The swimming pool at night

They were having some drill for passengers. It starts every time before the ship leaves the port.
However, every time, we never bothered to attend.
So, this was a first. :P

Marina at Keppel Bay during the night
Pretty isnt it? XD

Day 2 - Eat, Study, Sleep...and Eat

The lobby
Ok, my photography skills doesn't do this place justice.
It looks way better with the lights on at night though~

Our breakfast table at the Western Restaurant
Lucky us, mum and I got the window seat!

All these restaurants we go to are already calculated inside the package of the cruise. So, we were practically eating there for free. Those "Free" restaurants can range from Buffet style, Western or Chinese style. BUT, if you were to like order other drinks like Juices or Soft Drinks or even a decent cup of coffee...it is close to S$10 ;A;
They use a card system, so by the end of the trip, you will have to go down to the lobby to pay your bills with your cabin card, and then get back your passport. (Yes, it is still considered as going overseas well... technically its on-the-sea)

The Morning face..LOL

Our breakfast-
with Western Special- Beef
Can you imaging people eating Beef in the morning? Well, we ordered LOL!

Ok, this is totally a camwhore moment...I am so sorry

A proof that I did study on board!
(Even if its might just be a little while...)

With our love of Western food (and its convenience), my mum and I went to the Western's for Lunch and Dinner.

Ze bread
This is on every table, and for the guest to munch before starting their meals.

Appetizers - Corn Soup (with bread decorated by mum)
There would be a list of Appetizers, Main Course and Dessert for you to choose from, I always like soup for Appetizers :P

Mum's Main Course- Grills

My Main Course- Fisherman's Pie
which, I stupidly misread it as Shepherd-man's pie OTL

Dessert - Strawberry Ice cream

And....Our Dinner~

Appetizer- Cream of Potato with Smoked Salmon and Sour Cream
Fattening, but this is really a good soup!
We even unashamedly asked for seconds!

Appetizer- Clear Chicken Tortilla Soup (mum's)

Main Course- Grilled Beef Brochette on Mushroom Risotto
If you wonder how I'd remember those dish names...I took a pic of the menu :P

Dessert- Strawberry Yogurt Mousse
What a delicate decoration!

Day 3- Back to Port

The Cruise's Library
I actually wanna study here, but it was crowded with people since Day 1!

Sunrise at our cabin's Balcony

Enjoying the last day of the cruise.

Well, that concludes my days when everyone were happily enjoying AFA (and enjoying rubbing it in my face via FB feed ;A;) - Ok, not that I am not enjoying myself with food :P

Will update soon~, thanks for reading!
