Birthday party + Trip to USS

This post is a month plus a day late :P

My 21st birthday party was really a rushed one, which was planned in just 3 days. 2 months back I was thinking of holding a Modern-Masquerade party, where the guests would be wearing a mask and normal party clothes. I already had planned the name list and the dates most of them are available. However, just as the planning goes, the idea got smaller and smaller until I almost gave up on celebrating my 21st 3 days before my planned date. However, the others told me that since I'll never be 21 again, why not just plan the party. I got tempted and so, on that night, I went to search for a catering that caters ready made BBQ ingredients and cooked food. The function room and the BBQ pit were booked that night too. Everything was so damn last minute. 

I invited friends from Primary school, Secondary school, Poly course-mates and JTC peeps and they really came to my party despite the last minute invitation, which made me feel very blessed. >o< I was really afraid I had ordered too much.

I really wanna thank: 

• Gladys for volunteering to help with the BBQ. I felt really bad since she is a guest too but she was doing the BBQ-ing the whole time instead. >.<  
• GK for helping me plan the last minute games- Chubby Bunny (Saying "chubby bunny" every time you put mash-mellow inside mouth), Cinnamon Challenge (even though we didn't play this one due to the timing) and (really...why?? For this one, I am not thanking you!) the "force Joyce to eat lots of vegies" game
• Ashikin for choosing Swensen's Ice cream cake for me!<3<3 I love it!! XD
• Dabie,Wenyuan, Eudy and Min for helping me carry the stuffs back to my home. And thanks A LOT for throwing me inside the pool. That is so sweet of you guys. -.- LOL
• Everyone who came to my party because you care~! <3 LOL. Yeh, and for the present too, HAHA.

Most of the OSG could not make it to the party since most of them had work. However, we did planned an outing to USS to celebrate my birthday anyways so technically they did not miss out my birthday :P The plan was to meet for lunch, celebrate my birthday and go to USS (it was planned for the next day, after my party)

However, we decided to go for to USS some other day as it was already around 2pm after we are done with our lunch. Lingyu mentioned that we will need a whole day to really enjoy everything. Hence, we all planned another weekday to go back again, as long as it does not exceed the ticket's time period. 

That day we went into Sentosa to play instead. 

We met up again a week later at 9am:

The land of Far Far Away

If ever you visit USS Singapore, you had to at least try the Battlestar Galactica. They have two rides, Human and Cylon. I only dared to ride the Human and even with the "flooring" (compare: Cylon's roller coaster seats allows the rider's legs to hang in the air), my legs almost gave way when we had to get out of the seats. I didn't dare to ride the Cylon after that. LOL.

I really love the Transformer's ride. The special 3D effects they had is really awesome, hence it was worth every minute of the looong waiting time.

After we went one round of USS (according to the map), the rides were already closing. We didn't even get to ride any rides twice! :(

I hope to go back there again to ride the Transformers and the ride at 'Egypt'. I just love the special effects of those rides!
