Natsu Matsuri 2012

Sorry to those who were following my blog for lack of updates. Been trying to get back my momentum since work started. It will only get busier once my part-time studies starts. I wonder how I can juggle work, studies, cosplay, shoots, and outings. Nevertheless, I will do my best and rush out the next costume for AFA. (Since STGCC is already over...will do another post about it later)

Anyways, a few weeks back I went to my 3rd Natsu Matsuri (Japanese' Summer Festival) with my usual cliques, Joreal, Fuyuhi and the newest addition: Stella! XD I was going to wear my Yukata...but sad to say, I kinda lost it. I know it's still at home, somewhere~~ guess its time to do housekeeping OTL

Something different about this year's Natsu Matsuri is that I got to eat delicious Japanese food with out paying :P Fuyu's friend really cooked some awesome curry! Plus, it kinda offset the sadness I felt when I realised they were out of Matcha Ice Cream ;A; (Part of my reason to get my lazy butt to the festival is because of the ice cream...)

Fuyu's salad were also very nice, so you can say I had a very full dinner that night. XD

Oh right. Also, if you had been reading other blogs (or tweet, or Stomp post) regarding this year's Natsu Matsuri, you probably would had known about a few people who thought it was alright to go to the festival in Cosplay or as Waloli (Kimono version of Lolita). Since those people had been scolded (be it During the event or After- online) I shall not "add oil" to it. Though~ people should know that Natsu Matsuri is a Japanese Cultural event, hence no cosplay should be involved. Just hope that the Japanese association in Singapore don't put it as a members-only event next year >.<

For me, one thing good about going to the event is so that I can catch up with my formal CCA mates. Besides, who wouldnt want to see their cute juniors running around as helpers for the festival? XD (Imma such a sadist..)
