Studio Shoot

Had been trying to balance my work, studies, driving lessons, cosplay plans and shoots all together now that my part-time studies had officially started on Saturday. 

Bad thing is, I had not touched the Biology terms for human body since sec 2 so I had struggle during my first lesson on Human Anatomy. (Couldnt understand or even heard of those scientific terms for different body locations)

So now, I had to study 4 lectures before my tutorial on Mon, which is super rush considering I had to watch and understand all those lectures online in one day OTL. Who said private schools are easy? Try PSB's UWA- BSc. 

Boy, will they swallow back their words....

Anyways, this post is about my first (official/or not-so-official) studio shoot some weeks ago! 

Had a discussion with Tanlin that probably went a bit like this, 

"'You want shoot? Let's go out and shoot one day!' 

'Yeh! I was thinking of having a studio shoot!'  

'I can arrange that, what day do you want? Next Sunday?'  

'Sure, I'm free~' " 

Set, and contract sealed. Lol. 

I've realized that most of my shoots were rather impulsive, and those that were planned were dragged further and further behind. Why, I wonder...?

I've been trying to shoot HinaIchigo in a studio since a long time ago because the costume did not really fit me and I wouldn't be caught dead during events wearing this. However, since I've already brought it 2nd-hand from someone already, it would be a waste not to cos. The costume came with the wig, but the wig was rather inaccurate due to the fact that it's long. Though, if compared to the HinaIchigo wigs on Taobao, I think that this colour is closer to the original due to the fact that it is more orange than light blonde.

On that day, I'd dragged Fuyuhi down with me since I need a SKW and she's free anyways. Turns out she became my makeup artist and did a really GREAT job in my transformations. Yes, plural. Because I did 2 shoots that day. XD

For the second shoot, I did a Gothic-Punk Loli style, mix-and-matching whatever punkish clothing I could find from my wardrobe.

I say, Fuyu's makeup skills is like EPIC. Awesome! XD

I wore the same contact lens for HinaIchigo for my 2nd shoot but my makeup was darken with eyeliner and the bottom lash was replace with a shorter upper lash. When I looked at the mirror after Fuyu was done, I was shocked at my reflection. I looked completely different! SUPER COOL! XD

I was clearly more comfortable in this style than the previous since I could move more freely, without trying to act innocent and cute OTL. The thing I regret the most was that I had not lost weight for this shoot. What a pity :(

Though I had to say...the wig came out rather well in the pics :P

Still, although it is more convenient to do a studio shoot (in terms of changing clothes and doing makeup), I would prefer outdoor shoots because the lighting is more natural and pretty. Studio lights can be harsh and might make the subject look weird on photos. However, if you want to do some effects or add-on backgrounds, studio shoots would be an ideal choice. 

Contact Lens- E.O.S Dollyeye Green

I really liked this contacts but sad to say, the colour was coming off even though it was newly opened.

Still, since I was out of green contacts, I had to use this one. 

DO NOT DO WHAT I DID! It is really harmful to the eyes! 

I threw the contacts straightly after the shoots - and got seriously nagged by Fuyuhi OTL

I can't find a supplier for EOS already :( If anyone know, please tell me!
