STGCC '12

This was my first STGCC and also for the first time, the event was held at MBS (MarinaBay Sands) - damn far for most of us ;A;

Was able to meet up with lots of my (formal) CCA-mates/ Juniors and cosplay friends. 

Oh, and did I mention that my Bulbasaur costume was SOLD?? XD So happy~! She was very cute in the costume too! (Met her during Day1- apparently her back view looked so similar that my friends all thought that was me. :P) Hehehehe, I feel a weird sense of proud-ness.....somehow(?)

Day 1: Shiki The World Ends With You (TWEWY)

As last minute as I always am, I prepared most of my items for my Day 1 costume in less than 12 hours. LOL. Went to buy the tops and materials for the accessories my character has after I decided I was too lazy to sew the tank tops shorter myself. (I had to hand-sew! No way I could make it!)

I used white masking tapes to create the white lines for the hat and yellow masking tapes for my boots.  A sloppy job...but it appears acceptable on pictures so, neh, all is fine XP

I didn't feel like I did well for this cos because I had not succeed in losing weight and tone my flabby belly ;A; I was suppose to show my bellybutton but since it was not toned, I dare not do it >.<
I wasn't really feeling comfortable with my costume, so all the while I had been hiding from cameras, sitting at a corner and also had went home early. I was pretty much a ninja that day :P

Day 2: Azusa K-On! Winter Uniform version

Was Saikang-ing for Ying for her KHR- Uni shoot so both of us arrived late at STGCC (like event-almost-ending late) 

We actually thought of just abandoning the idea of heading down to the event after the shoot, but since she was already in costume and Sawako had already cabbed down to MBS just to cos K-On! with me, we just went and arrived around 5pm OTL 

With the new wig, I looked more like Azusa now XD

True to the saying that 'Birds of the same feathers flock together', both Stella and Fuyu came to the event around the same time I was done with my makeup, and also in time for Fuyu to trim my newly bought ( and newly opened) wig! 

Both of them looked super nice btw XD

Sawako's wig had abit of malfunction, hence she did not want to take much pictures, and kept wanting to change out. >.<  Paul took a photo and seems like the problem didn't show up much on pictures.

Being chased out of the event ground at around 8-ish, we went to Douby Ghuat for Just Asia, which seems like a cosplayer's choice. There were lots of groups of cosplayers having dinner there.

Fuyu accompanied me to the toilet to change out and as usual, we camwhored.

To be honest, I don't like the location where STGCC was held. It seems too far to a lot of people. Though, I do like how the event managed itself. Opening up an entire hall for cosplayers to camp in is always a plus-point for me XD
