Beauty Matsuri Day Out!

I kind of got over my procrastination and started on this post which should had been done a few weeks back. Hence, there is a very high chance I would miss out some details of the event. Bear with me while I try to recall as much as possible though :P

Right, anyways. I had received a confirmation the day before the event about me being selected for the Beauty Matsuri Day Out which was exclusive for Watson Members. The event was on a Saturday afternoon and since I was already planning to go out for the Shibuya Gals Lookalike Results Show in the evening, I figured why not? XD

The event hosted 3 products of Shiseido and each were conducted in sequence that corresponds to what girls should do in their daily beauty routine.

Beauty Matsuri Day Out with

My nametag, in Jap too! XD

To be honest, since I arrived late (Really bad traffic on the way there ;A;), I did not catch much of the demo for Senka. >.<
Senka~
Removed makeup and applied their moisturizer. It felt really refreshing!

Majolica Majorca <3 p="p">

The part I've been waiting eagerly for, Majolica Majorca!! Have I mentioned before that I am a HUGE fan of MJMJ? Having my face totally piled with MJMJ product is like a dream come true for me! I mean, look at the packaging, the colours?! /calmingselfdown
With slides, the demonstrator talked about how different skin tone suits what shades of blush and how their new product- Cream de Cheek (the one that looked so much like a nail polish) could recreate the Lena-look.
I've learnt quite a few things like when choosing a foundation, you apply a "dot" of the powder to the side of your mouth and compare which is closer to your skin tone.
Then it comes to the part of eyebrow shading, which I was totally clueless about. When she was demonstrating on a volunteer, I could not catch anything. However, apparently during the try-out phase, one of the demonstrator caught interest to my Padfone 2 and asked if he could see it. After that it sorta went into "bribing", where in exchange of letting him examine my phone, he had to teach me how to do my brows. LOL. So he did one side for me and I had to match it on the other side.

To start, locate A by putting the eyebrow pencil parallel to your nose and make a mark.
Locate the highest point of your brow (B) by tilting the pencil to the 2/3 of your eye and make another mark.
Tilt again to point C, taking note that it should only be higher than or in line with point A
Join the points and shade.
To avoid looking too fierce, do not shade too much at Point A but more at B and C.

Using the new Chapter 35 products- Cream de Cheek and Trick-on Liner in Red
Does my eyebrow match? Looks a bit uneven to me >.<

They did not touch on the different shades of eyeshadows which I assumed is due to time constraint. So I just did some mixing of the purple and applied it to my lid. Glad it turned out well xD
I've used the Raspberry Cream, darkest red in the Cream de Cheek series like what the demonstrator had recommended us to use. It was designed to look like a nail polish for easier application.
Just apply 3 dots at the cheek and spread them upwards, extending down but not exceeding the mouth area. (creating a triangle)  Turns out, it was a weee bit too red for me (ok, I looked like a clown). However, after piling another layer of the foundation, it looked fine.
The model for Chapter 35 Circus Ecstasy used the red Trick-On eyeliner so the demonstrator told us to try it. Guess I was feeling a bit bold since I was preparing to do a Harajuku style make. While other participants took the black liner, I used the red one.
One even commented that I looked like the MJMJ model. *ohstopityou.jpg*

While we were all still fussing on the makeup steps, they started talking about Ma Cherie- Shisedo's Haircare brand, recently launched in Singapore. They had this fragrance that allows us to still smell nice after a trip to the hawker center.
I mean, who likes to come back to the office after lunchtime smelling like your lunch? Just a spray before heading out and after coming back would leave you smelling nice the whole day!

Ma Cherie~!
This is actually shampoo, quite cute of them to put it in a wine glass XD

Camwhoring after the event.. My blush still looked so bright!

As you can see, I paid more attention to the MJMJ section :P

Since I was gonna head straight down to the Shibuya Gals' Lookalike Results Show,
I added on the Dolly Wink Lashes XD

Due to Senka's moisturizer, my makeup still stayed on even after 4+ hours!

4 hours after Beauty Matsuri Day Out.
I have no idea why my double lid looked super defined that day.
Good though XD
(No PS eye enlargement done! Muhahaha! /getsbricked)
