EOY '12

Back from the land of Procrastination to bring you the "update" of what-happened-to-JoyceYukari-during EOY.

For what they liked to call "the continuation from EOY'11", this year she cosplayed the Basic Fire Pokemon Evolution- Charmander along with her team Evolution Trio, who had done the Basic Grass Pokemon Evolution- Bulbasaur during EOY'11 last year. 

No official news on whether they would be returning as Basic Water Pokemon Evolution- Squiturtle on next year's EOY'13. Rumor has it that Satoshi Miyako - Venesaur (EOY'11) Charizard (EOY'12) had been trying to convince the rest of the Evolution Trio.  

For most events, JY likes to do her stuffs last minute and this year was no exception. After spending her Saturday out, she returned home to wash up and headed down to Miyako's house to complete her last part of her costume; the making of the fire tail.

With plenty of hot glue, the tail was finally done after 1.5 hours,

Which includes 1 hr of cloth staring.

Waking up early in the morning, the Evolution Trio prepares for the event by helping each other.

Held in Marina Barrage this year, EOY was bigger than ever, probably due to the fact that no entry fee was required. Even without entry fee, the event still hosted stage performances, which made this event one of the most successful this year.

With the place surrounded mostly by water, it was a surprise to see the Fire Pokemons to appear calm. Irony aside, the Evolution Trio had lots of fun during the event.

What came as a pleasant surprise was that Sawako, JY's long-lost cosplaymate finally cosplayed during that event!

Before heading home in Sam's car, JY spotted Trina and both of them were really excited to finally talk to each other.

Tried a different style of writing today by subbing the "me" with a third person. Actually wanted to do it with the concept of "Newspaper Report" but I think it did not came out just quite right :P
